I am (for the next remaining 9 months,) the gender equality advisor for Jamaica’s national HIV response, through an agreement between our government /Ministry of Health and the UN’s unifem now UNWomen with EC$
Your comments / quotes/ ref. To reports ) making the rape and HIV links and violence vs women generally and societal impact, will be very useful for documents I am preparing and recommendations I need to leave in place for our government.
I welcome information comments from others in regards to this Project of the National HIV/STI programme called “Supporting Gender Equality in the context of HIV/AIDS” – goal to build country capacity (through the national aids response mechanisms) to promote human rights and gender equality.
