Answers to questions posed by Havelock Brewwster in his comment. It is not known how many of the 15 CARIFORUM states and how many of the 27 EU states have ratified the EPA. The EPA has been traditionally applied, but it is not known when it will come into force.
Very many thanks Ms. Van Genderen. This is really an alarming and surprising state of affairs. It does not look good to me. There could be a long stalemate. I wonder whether all CF governments are aware of the situation. HB
PS does this imply that an ACP partner State could have initially chosen pro tem the goods only option intending to later ie in reality indefinitely/never to sign on to services etc, while reaping the benefits of the Agreement, there being apparently no timeline on notification of completition of procedures (ratification)??
