Cuba remains a remarkable example of courage and determination in defending its national sovereignty in the face of almost overwhelming odds and of sustained commitment to social justice in spite of extreme economic difficulties. Not everything is perfect, and I am sure that I would have lots to complain about if I had to live the life of an ordinary Cuban.
