First published in 1975, this seminal paper by Louis Lindsay was republished in 2005 with commentaries by several scholars. It is published here on the occasion of the SALISES 50-50 Conference to mark the 50th anniversaries of the Independence of Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago
Thanks for posting this…what cause for reflection!! Features of the global political economy have changed significantly but our insertion into it is more peripherally entrenched than before. The policy outlook that LL spoke of in his myth paper has not changed either..
